二、While-task procedure
1.Put up the wallchart.Tell a story something like this:It was a fine spring day.Look at the sky.It was so blue!Danny,mummy,Sam,May,Ann and Spotty were in the countryside.They were having a picnic.Ann was flying a ktte. It was red.There were also other colour kites in the sky.Sam asked Ann to guess, “How many kites?”Ann answered. “Seven”。May was holding a banana in her hand and mummy was Pretending that she did not know the colour.She asked. “Is it blue”?May laughed and answered, “No”。May was wearing her yellow top. she looked very smart.
2.Ask the students to count the kites in the sky and tell you if Ann’s answer is correct.
3.Ask and answer How many yellow bananas?Ten. How many red apples?Eight. How many green pears?Seven.
4.Ask individual students to say the colours of different objects on the wallchart anol practise. e.g “Is it…?” Yes. /No.”
5.Play the cassette
(1)Listen
(2)Follow the tape.
(3)Read the dialogue.
